Does anybody know of a frequent flyer program that allows you to accumulate flyer miles regardless of the airlines you’re flying?
I’d be flying about 30,000 miles in the coming months and I thought it would be good to accumulate those miles, huh? Who knows, I might be able to earn myself an air ticket to somewhere, sometime
One of the things that bring back sweet memories whenever I go back to Sungai Lembing is mahjong. My sister and I were exposed to the games (no, we don’t call that gambling, OK?) when we were very young. In fact, we mastered the games before we were even 10 years old, thanks to aunts and cousins who were ever-ready to coach us!
My favourite is definitely the 3-ka mahjong (a.k.a. three-player mahjong) because it is a very simple and straight-forward game. When we were in Sungai Lembing 2 days ago, J and I literally played the 3-ka mahjong day and night
And guess what?! My record-breaking time to win a game was 18 seconds. Who can beat that?! I mean, OK, the two of us played what should be a three-player game but then again, who cares?

Another type of my favourite mahjong is gin rummy (how to play gin rummy?) but it takes a lot longer to finish a gin rummy game.

I know, it was even more ridiculous that both of us played what was meant for 4 players but if the mahjong tiles are all over the mahjong table, you don’t just ignore them, do you?!

When I joined StumbleUpon in September last year, there were 3.5 million people who have done it ahead of me. And when I joined Twitter yesterday, I have a feeling that there are even more (smarter) people who have done so because I have just realized that Twitter is fun (in a way) and it makes keeping in touch so much easier!
Before I joined Twitter, I had been thinking whether or not I should do it. For all it’s worth, I am afraid of having to remember an additional set of username and password for some web-based services because I think I have more than I can remember!
I am slowly trying to familiarize myself with writing tweets and receiving them on my mobile and what-nots, so if you’re also on Twitter, do drop your link into the comment box, and I will follow you, OK?
And yeah, in case you’re interested, here’s mine: http://twitter.com/pelf81
P/S: Can any (Malaysian) tweeters tell me whether it’s really FREE to send a tweet using my mobile? I don’t want to get a heart attack when my phone bill comes
Addendum: Steve pointed out to me a very good introduction to Twitter (link to YouTube), by Common Craft.
