Hooray!
I thought the previous header was quite long, and filled up almost half the screen and somebody *winks* reminded me that it looked quite like the colour of the opposition - and it was especially true when you’ve been staying at a place for more than half a decade and people are starting to suspect that you have kinda been “converted”, in either way la..
Anyway, the header picture comes with the laptop, so I have no idea to whom it belongs..
You know, the internet connection of late is like the Chipsmore advertisement on TV - hence the title *winks* Sometimes you can connect easily and the pages load in the blink of an eye and there you sit, glued to the chair, thanking God profusely for making your life sooo much more happier.
And logging on to your own blog is like playing hide-and-seek with the ants that line your room. You know, sometimes you see them (the ants), sometimes you don’t, especially when they disappear behind your computer table only to appear again and then disappear again behind your wardrobe *sigh*
But if you have a stable internet connection where you are, go say hi to my cutie sister. She’s got herself a new (predictable) domain.
Does anybody know what “Packets” are?

J always checks his Local Area Connection Status window whenever he’s online. He claims that the bigger the packets number, the faster the connection is. However, we both cannot tell what are the factors that limit the packets.
- How high will the packet figures go, considering the speed of the connection is 100.0 Mbps?
- What does the “speed of 100.0 Mbps” mean anyway?
- What causes the packet figures to increase and decrease?
- What are the factors that cause our connection speed to decrease? For example, my housemate left his PC switched on overnight - he was downloading something I assumed was a movie - and when I connect to the Internet in the morning, is it normal to assume that the connection speed will be drastically reduced?
Experts, anyone?
