This is weird.. I received THREE official cards from Postcrossing today. THREE! By the way, an “official card” refers to a card sent via the Postcrossing website where a postcrosser requests for an address and a random address will be sent to his/her email. Apart from the official cards, the “other kind” of cards refer to those acquired by tagging and at the same time tagged by other postcrossers in the forum.

The first card (they are not in any particular order though) was from Annrira, if I read her signature correctly
She said she was very excited to send a card to a country which is “really exotic” and “so far away”. Annrira explains that the card shows Rauma, a city in which she lives in and study at.

The second card was from Kiia, who says that the card shows the hay-making process since it is now the “hay-making time”. I thank her for the card and I think I sounded ignorant because I told her I didn’t know of the existence of such “a time”. And I thought hay could be made anytime.. Opps..

And the third card was from Jonna. Jonna also apologized for not sending me a turtle card but she sent me a flower card instead. A card that shows a Finnish sinivuokko (Hepatica nobilis). I googled the scientific name and found its common name - liverwort or liverleaf (more information here). Apparently, there’s a type of branching corals whose scientific name is Acropora nobilis <– not relevant here, just thought you might want to know, because J is studying its reproduction strategies..
The cards may come from three different individuals but there is ONE thing in common though.. They’re ALL from Finland!! That’s the problem when you have so many Finnish postcrossers!! AARGH.. When will I receive official cards from people OUTSIDE Finland?!
