Postcards From Afar
Postcards and/or cards received from PostCrossing and fellow bloggers.
Postcard #39
This loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) card was sent by Mimi from Florida, USA.

Mimi said that when she was a little girl, she and her grandfather found a nest of loggerhead turtle eggs on the beach by his house!!
The information provided at the back of the postcard says that the East Coast of Florida is the second largest nesting site for the loggerheads in the world *whoa*
By the way, the loggerheads do not come to the Malaysian waters.
Postcard #38
This is my first official card from Japan! Hooray..! :)

This “Sunset Beach at Okinawa” card was sent by Narumi, a 14-year-old girl (she’s got very pretty and neat handwriting). And according to Narumi, Okinawa is “a small island that floats on the South of the Japanese Mainland”.
One of the reasons I don’t particularly fancy sunrise and sunset cards is because they all look the same, don’t they?
Postcard #35
This multiview card of New Brunswick, Canada was sent to me by Anique. The card shows (from left to right) the Quoddy Head Lighthouse, Confederation Bridge, a Wooden Covered Bridge and Hopewell Rocks.

I especially like the Confederation Bridge. Awesome!
Note: Nobody actually noticed I accidentally missed this ah? :) I didn’t notice it either *winks*
