The following three scenery cards arrived on the same day (sometime last week).

The first card looks very much like the area Julie lives in. According to Julie, they live in the country with their cats, dogs and chickens and that they really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area.

I remember the first time I heard of the place called Wisconsin was when Jack was trying to convince Rose not to jump off Titanic. Anyway… This place looks peaceful enough and I am sure it makes a good place to retire to :)

This second card shows a typical Finnish view, according to Anni. The nature is clean, there are a lot of forests and big fields and “a few clouds in the sky”.. No offense though, but it looks like one of the views I am most likely to see at the coastal roads somewhere near the Kuala Terengganu airport..

The third card shows a peaceful looking.. Err.. Floating house?

This loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) card was sent by Mimi from Florida, USA.

Mimi said that when she was a little girl, she and her grandfather found a nest of loggerhead turtle eggs on the beach by his house!!

The information provided at the back of the postcard says that the East Coast of Florida is the second largest nesting site for the loggerheads in the world *whoa*

By the way, the loggerheads do not come to the Malaysian waters.

This is my first official card from Japan! Hooray..! :)

This “Sunset Beach at Okinawa” card was sent by Narumi, a 14-year-old girl (she’s got very pretty and neat handwriting). And according to Narumi, Okinawa is “a small island that floats on the South of the Japanese Mainland”.

One of the reasons I don’t particularly fancy sunrise and sunset cards is because they all look the same, don’t they?
