My darling Yvy wants to know how my desktop looks like, and since she showed what hers look like (it’s a picture of cutie-pie Ella), here’s mine (click to view the larger version):

I’m supposed to tag five persons, but I want to see more than five desktops, so show me YOURS :-)
Joe @ Intermission At Work tagged me with a random eight meme, and I thought I should entertain him since I haven’t done one in a while
So here goes:
- I have very good selective memory. I can remember birthdates, phone numbers, car registration numbers etc. without much effort (provided that I want to remember them in the first place). But I am particularly good at recalling car registration numbers to a point that my boyfriend sometimes gets scared of me, LOL.
- I am a punctual person. I do not like to keep other people waiting for me. Similarly, I do not like to wait for people who are late, especially those who do not take the effort to arrive punctually.
- I take dirty jokes as a form of sexual harassment. Seriously. So the next time you want to tell me a dirty joke, think twice.
- I am a picky eater. I do not eat cucumber, watermelon, honey dew and a lot more. Strange, I know. But that doesn’t give you the rights to hypothesize why I am thin. Really, that’s none of your business.
- I am not a creative person. I cannot design anything creative, and I cannot “think out of the box.” I am practical. At least I like to think I am.
- I only have 24 teeth. I had 8 teeth extracted to make way for the braces, which I wore for 4.5 years.
- I am a grateful person. I feel indebted to people who have helped me. But that does not give you the right to take me for a ride.
- I like surprises. Giving and receiving.
There you go, eight random things about me. If you’d like to read more about stuff like this, I’ve got a list of 100 things about me in my old blog.
I got this “What will I be doing on 8th August 2008″ tag from Simon, and since he so generously sponsored me during the Blogathon, I’m going to complete the tag — see, I’m a nice person!
Seriously, I don’t even know what I will be doing on 8th August 2007, let alone next year! But I reckon I’d either be:
- pursuing my Ph.D. degree, though I have no idea whether I’d be sent overseas or not, OR
- running the rat race and climbing the so-called corporate ladder, sans the Ph.D., OR
- working on some freelance job to put food on my table and a roof over my head, OR
- parasitizing off my Mum, hehhehe..
By the way, did I just invent a new word?
So what do you think you will be doing on 8th August 2008? I’m sure the restaurants are fully booked for wedding receptions by now, ehehhe, sometimes we Chinese can be very unbelievable
