I feel I am getting better at designing posters these days. No kidding. But then, the posters I designed seem to have a common pattern. An easily-recognized pattern. Like this one:

Click here for a readable version (opens in a new window).

Before we went in to Redang for the weekend, my Supervisor suggested that we design a new poster that depicts the activities of a volunteer who participates in the Volunteer Program. I agreed to it (despite it being a last-minute idea and that I don’t work well with last-minute arrangements) because the idea has been playing in my mind for quite some time too (I even had the layout incubated in my head) but did not materialize because I did not have all the necessary pictures despite being a volunteer myself in 2004.

My Supervisor provided most of the pictures used in the poster while I did the rest - arranging, resizing, cropping - in about 6 hours.

If you have read the poster and would like to read more about the program, please visit the SEATRU website. But please note that beginning next year, the Volunteer Program will run from Saturday to Saturday, instead of from Sunday to Sunday - this is for the better, trust me, as you only need to take five days off instead of six.

I hope the following pictures are self-explanatory enough :) Pardon the blurry first picture though - camera acting up < -- such a convenient excuse :))
