And that was why I left this post hanging..
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I went to one of the State Government offfices last Friday to meet the two girls with whom I was working on the coffeetable book project. It was a Friday, and Fridays are holidays here in Terengganu, so when I arrived, the st*pid guard walked up to me and asked where I was going. I pointed to the office and said that I had an appointment with staff of Department so-and-so.
The st*pid guard asked whether I had frequented the premises, and I said yes, because I have been working on a book project with them for about two months.
Then he said, “Belum kahwin sudah ada buat projek?” And he grinned.
I was very very p*ssed at him because I thought the pathetic st*pid guard who was probably sexually deprived had no right to make fun of me for his own five split seconds of fame. I wanted to tell him off that it was none of his f*cking business and that he better behaved himself otherwise I’d definitely get the Director to fire his sorry a$$.
But I didn’t and I don’t know why. I just walked away..
A year ago I wrote about the Monsoon Cup, and how I was cheated of RM 6 because some st*pid old man refused to pay a single cent when he found out his enitre family could watch the opening ceremony without paying anything.
Anyway, Monsoon Cup is here again! A lot had happened since a year ago. For one, Pulau Duyung, the place where the Cup was hosted, and will be hosted again this year, has turned from a sleepy-hollow-almost-dead-but-popular-for-it’s-boat-building-industry town into a Datuk-Michelle-Yeoh-wants-to-build-a-holiday-villa-here town and more recently a Jackie-Chan-wants-to-film-a-movie-here town. Not bad, huh? *smiles*
If only Datuk Michelle Yeoh and Jackie Chan could convince our st*pid leaders that legalizing the sale of turtle eggs is only going to push the species into the brink of extinction FASTER. Hmmph..
To my Indian friends, if you happen to see this, HAPPY DEEPAVALI!
And to my Muslim friends, though there are only a couple of you, no, not because I don’t like them but because I really, really have only a couple of Muslim friends, SELAMAT HARI RAYA!!
To all of you who drop by everyday, even when I don’t, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
