Yes, Jack, there are such sites and those sites are really annoying. Spammers use certain scripts to pull blog posts that mention certain keywords and reproduce the whole post in its entirety. And these sites usually have advertisements all over.

Anyway, "pelfism" is a word I came out with when I was thinking of a name of my blog. It is supposed to mean "everything about pelf". LOL.

There are websites that pull info? What would be intentions of such sites? And 1 last question: what is pelfism? :o Thanks for the explanations!

I am not prejudiced, Jack. To be brutally honest, the Animal Danger site did not convince me that it wasn't one of those websites that pull information from other websites. I have visited the site a few times since the first time you left me a comment (in Sept).

Plus, the email listed on the website was different from the two emails that you have used to leave comments here.

But now I know that you aren't a spammer, I will reinstate the site :) No hard feelings, OK? :)

P/S: Hhahah, it's not about the money. It's more about who I link to, because in terms of blogging, a link to a certain site represents my approval of that site. I hope you understand :)

Cool, thanks. And how come you are prejudiced about my animal site and disable the link? Did I do something wrong? Or did I not make sufficient donations to your causes? :/

Hi Jack, the questions will be answered during the 24-hour Turtle Blogathon on the TCC website (http://www.turtleconservationcentre.org). And yes, we can only answer turtle-related questions because we do not have the authority nor the knowledge and experience to talk about elephants or tigers :)
