My parent also taught me not to fight back if someone made problem with me, but my brother was the opposite, he always told me to fight back if someone made problem, because it’s only me who can protect myself. I still remembered when I was a child there’s a naughty fat boy who liked to tease me, and my brother just said ‘If he punch you, punch him back’, what a wonder brother. lol. For now I just look the situation, if I must fight, then I will fight, but for sure it won’t be me who will start the problem :)

Hi, Pelf. Long time no see/write/talk…

First of all, I admire how your blog is so gussied-up, both looks and coding.

As for the fight junk, well, you got a bunch of good advice. I think if it is a one-time problem you can deal with it almost any way you choose. If however it is ongoing, you may need to “push back” and figure out how to do that; sometimes it is better to find a friendlier place of work and say the h— with that. That is why I left the corporate world in 1986 and found the best boss ever — yes, I have been my own boss since then, through “thick and thin”.
