I’m crazy like that
“If you guys want to go catch a movie, we could do that. You know, Dark Knight?”
“Nope.”
“Why? You don’t like Batman?”
“Err.. I don’t like the title.”
I know it sounds crazy to not want to watch a movie because of the movie title.
But that’s just me. I judge a movie by its title. Similarly, I judge a book by its title. I am not afraid of admitting it, or the fact that the movie or book I dismissed earlier could be a good one. Even if the whole world thinks that it is a very good movie, I would still not watch it.
Because I don’t like how the title sounds.

Well, that’s just me! :) I might be missing a very good movie because I’ve read that somebody gave a 200% thumbs up for The Dark Knight, but really, I don’t feel like watching it just because everybody says it’s good.
Maybe, MAYBE, I might watch it some other time, when I am ready, LOL.
And no, I don’t think “The Dark Knight” is a bad title, I just don’t like how it sounds, that’s all.
Movies that I’d love to watch? At the moment, Up The Yangtze.

That’s the one big difference between the pelfs. I love batman. I watched “The Dark Knight”. I found it to be one of the coolest (if not greatest) movie I’d watched this year. Though I found ‘the joker’ to be quite disturbing and I could hardly sleep the night I watched it, nonetheless it was really a one good movie NOT TO BE MISSED. Trust me. I reviewed movies (for some time) and I know what kind of movies worth watching :)
P/s: I still have 2 free movie tickets. You can have it, if you don’t mind :)
