How do the bulletin boards look like at your college or university? Do they contain a lot of interesting and informative stuff? Do they contain a lot of brochures that you can flip and have a look at? Are you able to find information on previously posted stuff?
These are how the bulletin boards look like at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga:
I am sure it would be super duper nice if our lecturers would post comic strips on their doors, wouldn’t it? ![]()
If you think this post might benefit other bloggers:

As far as I’m concerned none of the bulletin boards in my university is as interesting and informative as the one in the one in the photo. =)
Some of the lecturers here, however did put up quite a number of stuff on their office doors and glass panels.
Is the room tidy? For most male lecturers’ room here in UTM are quite messy… =)
If, and only if lecturers in my Uni are this kind!
I am not even sure if UM will encourage lecturers to do that
Hahaha, I remembered a university lecturer of mine back in the UK who had a lot of Dilbert comics pasted on his door as well. Something about stupid people. bad HR, etc
Come to think of it. he is exactly like that House character! Looks a lot like him too, in fact. Ooh deja vu :p
Hee hee hee…one of my cooler lecturers actually drew some weird looking comics and pasted them on his door. The comic was done japanese style and it was regarding the importance of doing your tutorials and studying well before the exams…
PS: He was a engineering maths lecturer. How many cool maths lecturers do you know?
Wow.
Something we’ll definitely won’t (and never) see back at UMT…hmmm~
Littlebro: What do you expect from a local uni? I doubt the lectures know what is a comic! hahaha. just kidding.
sadly most of them are dull and boring. but the weather of so. cal makes up for it!
Welcome to the United States, where free thought USED TO BE a tradition (um, if I say up until 2001, there is no way to miss the hint)
Pelf, I am sure your visit will be quite a benefit for both the USA and your country, as we exchange cultures and experiences. Knowing you, probably the USA will come out ahead in the deal :–)
