A glass can be defined as a hard, brittle, transparent, noncrystaline substance produced by fusion of silicates containing soda and lime at very high temperatures.
Pelfy’s definition of a glass is something that breaks easily. For instance, a cup.
Now, Pelfy’s definition of a good glass is something that does not break easily. Even if it breaks, it will still stay intact. Look below:

My sister’s car windscreen
Now, how do you define a good glass?

Wow! Good photo… that would be scary being in that car!
I was there and saw the broken windscreen myself.
Pelfy, u bad girl. You shouldn’t bring up this sad matter on your sister’s blog. Her wallet must be ‘cursing like mad’ when looking at this image =P
Great shot! I feel sorry for your sister, b/c this will be very expensive to fix in Germany.
My definition of good glass is the same as yours, especially because I´m like an elephant… if it´s breakable (and expensive) there´s a 99% chance I WILL break it. *g*
This comment may be inappropriate but I couldn’t help but to think… such beautiful patterns!! However I wouldn’t want that on my windscreen though!
Good shot, sorry about your sis’ windshield. Must be a bit difficult to drive now ;-)
Have a great weekend.
Wow! That’s some mess of a windshield! Yikes!
My idea of good glass is safety glass, the good stuff you took this picture of
Re the decanter: some wines, especially old and more expensive, but sometimes simple ones too, need to be aired for a while. Decanter creates more surface contact with the air, reducing the time you need before drinking the wine.
Cheers!
That’s a gorgeous photograph, even though the circumstances were unfortunate.
WOW…artistic shot but that was a high price to pay… =p
