<a href="http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/4/8/nation/20878715&sec=nation" rel="nofollow">Illegal turtle hunt off Miri foiled, 88 men held</a>

This was in today's paper. They managed to catch those "buggers" (replacement word for something more obscene and rancid)!

I'm gonna post the links regarding this pledge and your other conservation work at my blog to get more coverage. I was pretty shocked to know that I was only pledger no. 80.

I don't really see why people would even want to eat turtle and terrapin eggs... I heard it taste like sand. If it taste that bad, why not pledge to not eat them? A bit of a no brainer... :grumpy:

Heh...always my hardworking & busy dai kah cher. Seems like your schedule is quite packed these days, but don't worry, I'm sure your avid blog readers will stay tuned to your blog, and that includes myself

By the way, I've signed the pledge as well, and I'm #81! What a lucky number, if you get what I mean :P

You are doing great work in the camps seems as if the children are really into it. I would have helped with the turtle petition but don't knows anyone that eats turtles anyway.
