My sister is currently away, thus my sister’s younger sister will be taking care of this site for a few days.

OK.. Let’s get things started. About a week ago, I mentioned to my sister that I will not be taking any pictures of flowers (because of my horrible photography skills) - even if I do, I will not be posting here, but looks like I have to ignore what I’ve said because… I realised my skills are not that bad after all. What do you think?

The ‘What is the name of this” flower

I hope it looks good to you. Come, tell me what do you think of this shot. Encouragements are welcomed :)

I like it, it’s a very nice shot of the flowers :)

These are marigolds. I’ve planted many of them before. There’s a huge color variation and size as well. Very pretty and hardy flower :D

  6. Joann

The picture is quite nice for someone that says she can’t take pictures of flowers, the focus is good and I have no idea as for the name of the flower as I really suck in it.

Yes, that is the yellow “Inca” variety of Marigold. Nice shot too!

This pictures gives me the “here but not here” surreal feeling. The nearer flower is a representation of the self, while the other has a distant and cold feeling, like our anima/animus.

    I Think, It’s Very Nice… :right:
