		<description>What a good idea.  I guess food scraps and anything that would cause too much smell were discarded of or kept well away from the apartment!  If not, he&#039;s brave.

Over the past year, I&#039;ve been &#039;reducing&#039; quite a lot.  I&#039;ve always &#039;reused&#039; by way of donating things to charity, giving to friends/family, and finding alternative uses for stuff I no longer need.  &#039;Recycling&#039; is also something I&#039;ve done for many years in quite an obsessive way at times.

However, I know there&#039;s still a lot more I could do.  I&#039;ll keep working at it, because it&#039;s important.

Hats off to Mr. Derfel though.  An interesting experiment.
