Photo Hunt: Delicious

Photo HuntThe first theme for 2008 is Delicious. I know I have used these two images last year but I couldn’t resist the temptation to post them up again! But that’s because it wasn’t mentioned in my earlier post whether or not the donuts were delicious. But I’m sure you know it by now, that they are indeed, delicious (even for a non-donut fan like me).

Big Apple

I couldn’t believe it when my sister said that the donuts were not sweet at all, I mean, we all know that donuts are supposed to be sweet, right?! And I was still very skeptical despite seeing the long queue outside the Big Apple Donuts and Coffee premise @ The Curve.

But true enough, the donuts weren’t overly sweet, in fact, it didn’t taste sweet if you took one at a time (don’t be greedy).

Donuts!

We bought a dozen donuts, which cost RM 17, about USD 5.20, which I thought wasn’t expensive, considering that donuts sold in a bakery (those with only sugar coating and dressing) cost about RM 1.20 each :D

So have YOU eaten any donuts lately? :D

    WHOA! You’re early this week. And yes, CA just bought me a dozen of J.Co donuts but I only chose four. Don’t think I can finish them so soon (considering the fact that I still have lots of cookies to clear).

    I actually remember those from last year. I’m doing PhotoHunt now from a different blog. Last year it was Mike’s Photo Blog, but I’ve stopped publication on that for the foreseeable future.
    Mine’s up on the blog for the site I am concentrating most of my effort on.

    Those donuts are beautiful. I have never seen colors on donuts like that! Green donuts?

    Yes, TR. The top green donut with white stripes is green tea-flavoured, whereas the bottom white donut with a green blotch in the middle is kiwi-flavoured :D

    Singapore had its donut craze last year. There are many donut shops here. My favourite is still J Co. My son just bought a dozen of donuts from another shop yesterday.

    Had Dunkin Donuts donuts two mornings in a row while in Taipei this past holiday season but, given a choice, still love Krispy Kreme donuts — which I can get over here in Hong Kong, and did the week before I left to go on holiday! — best! :)

    Pelf, Yes, I have to agree with you, Krispy Kreme donuts are little on the sweeter side, but when I go with milk or with coffee, they are just too yummy!

    J-Co donuts..is slightly sweeter compared to Big Apple Donuts. Yet, i still love J-Co donuts especially Copa Banana (actually there is another one which i couldn’t recall the name). Anyway, donuts with coffee..yum yum!
