I was *this* close to selling The Giving Hands!

A couple of days ago I announced on two blogging forums my decision to sell . It was a very difficult decision to make because I initially started it to do what I really loved to.

But due to the lack of attention that I’m putting into the blog, I thought perhaps somebody out there could dedicate the time and energy into the blog that I couldn’t. But thought otherwise. He doubted that I could find a buyer who is “as passionate as I am, and who is willing to write on a subject that doesn’t pay.”

So I thought, OK, perhaps I should give it another try.

So right now, I am looking for guest bloggers who can commit one post per week to . As a guest blogger, you may write about anything at all, pertaining to the environment, or charity, or health, or nature. Your posts can be in the form of a blog post, or poem, or an image with some description, or a list of tips, or a list of links. So you see, it is really very flexible.

If you can’t commit to one post per week, what about 2 posts per month? You could send me your write-ups, and I would publish them, with full credits back to you, of course..

However, as a guest blogger, you will not be paid a dime because I can’t afford to pay you. I wished I could, but I can’t :( However, you could be proud to be doing something that your son/daughter would come across one day many years down the road, and they would be proud that their Mum/Dad championed for the environment/charity.

    Oh my… I am glad you didn’t sell it.

    I will try to send in a post per week, but if I am busy (with assignments and exams), one post a fortnight, ok?

    Btw, do you accept gossips? Hot news? And ‘the latest’? haha :heart:

    I might be able to come up with some “art” but I’m pretty busy right now, and I don’t want to commit until I’m 100% sure I can stick to it. I’ll let you know anyway ;)

    Aww man! And just when I got around to sending you those questions too (did you get them?). Good to know you’re not selling TGH; I don’t think anyone who would buy a blog from anyone else could do the blog justice.

    I *may* be able to contribute a post. Heck, it could be a partnership thing. Neatorama has a thing with some other websites where for one day a week, they both post the same thing (though sometimes from other perspectives). We could do that too with TGH and ED :)
    What do you think?

    btw: your blog is pretty!! but hard to comment when the comment is bigger than the comment box…

    Yeah, Tiara, I am aware that the scrollbar doesn’t show up when a comment is lengthy. I am working on that already (but you know how long it will take for a design-idi*t to get it done, LOL) :D

    :heart: I’m glad you decided to stick with The Giving Hands. I actually would like to volunteer to write one or two posts a month. I can write two posts in December, but school will start again in January and I may only be able to do one post a month from then until summer. The reason I’m volunteering is because I’m a Christian and well aware that many Christians don’t seem to think the environment is something they should care about. I’d like to be a small agent of change where that is concerned!
