You were right, Adam. Perhaps a better word would be “non-sacrificial” as we do not sacrifice (kill) the animal.

Does it really count as non-invasive when you're making an incision and inserting something into the animal? Not saying that it's a horrible procedure, by any means, but I don't think it's non-invasive. Interesting post, though. Adam Snider's latest blog post: Edmonton Next Gen is Recruiting

I had no idea that you need to get inside a turtle’s body to determine its sex.
The photo looks great, I like the expression on the terrapin’s face: it looks like he’d like to sleep a little longer.
