Photo Hunt: Classic
It’s Photo Hunt time again, and this week, our theme is CLASSIC. I didn’t have any problem deciding which picture to use this week because it came very naturally to me :)
This is definitely something classic that nobody could argue!
The above picture shows a classic cash register that is still functioning today (click on the picture to learn how to use it). This picture was taken when I was walking past a row of pre-colonial shop houses in Ipoh. I had stopped to take a picture of something that caught my attention just as I was passing by this particular shop, and the owner of the shop came out and invited me into his premise.
Then he showed me some really old framed photographs of his ancestors, and then he talked about about how the ancient shops were being replaced by hypermarkets and how we, the younger generation, should learn more about these classic machines before they were placed in museums
Now, the million-dollar question is:
How old do you think the cash register is?
And, can you also guess how old this ancient phone is? :headphones:

A “NON REGISTERED” cash register… now that’s classic.
(Noticed your comment on my previous post, just thought of dropping by after these times. You changed your layout? Nice…)
