Yeah, if you haven’t already noticed it, I have just added a Blog Action Day banner on my sidebar. So what’s Blog Action Day, you ask??

Blog Action Day is a blogging event scheduled to take place on October 15th, where bloggers around the world will unite to post on a single important issue on everyone’s mind – the environment. Each blogger will post about the environment in their own unique way relating to their own topic.

Blog Action Day is about mass participation so the more bloggers, the merrier! There are 3 ways to participate:

1. Write a post relating to the environment on Blog Action Day — Register your blog here (optional, for tracking purposes).
2. Donate your day’s earnings to an environmental charity.
3. Promote Blog Action Day on your blogs/forums. Buttons and banners can be downloaded here.

When I registered my blog yesterday, there were only about 50 blogs reaching out to approximately 660,000 audience, but overnight, the number of blogs have reached 361, reaching an estimated audience of about 752,000!
