Blogathon 2007The official Blogathon website is open for registration, but only for forum members. The site will go LIVE tomorrow, and it will be officially open to the general public. So if you’d like to participate in this year’s annual Blogathon, go ahead and sign up for a blogger’s account :)

New registrations will not be accepted after July 21st, as will any changes made to the blogger profiles. So please make sure you’ve got your charity’s URL and donation page URL correct. Sponsorship, however, will not be affected by the lock-down.

The Giving HandsAnd since we’re here, I’d like to announce that I am officially going solo this year! :D I will be blogging about Eden Handicap Service Centre as well as disabilities-related issues throughout the Blogathon @ The Giving Hands.

In fact, I am looking for bloggers with disabilities so that I can “interview” them for a couple of my posts. It wouldn’t be a “real interview” with me asking a list of questions and you answering them accordingly. We would just exchange a few emails, in which I will ask one or two questions, and then you answer and I will then ask more questions based on your answers. It wouldn’t be very long (or very difficult) because I’d need to cook up a post during the Blogathon, and I wouldn’t be able to hit the PUBLISH button if a certain “interview” requires a lot of research..

So yeah, if you’re a blogger who is challenged in any way, please, please drop me a line. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. I really do :D

Ouh, and by the way, I’m going to be very thick-skinned from now until 48 hours after the Blogathon and ask you to sponsor me. Come on, click this link and sponsor me! Now! :D

To sponsor me, sign up for an account if you don’t already have a blogger’s account, select MYR from the currency drop down menu, and enter an amount. You will be sent an email after the Blogathon, with instructions on how you should go about delivering your pledges :)
