This year’s blogathon will be held on July 28th, and will officially begin at 0600 PST (that’s 2100 Malaysian time). Blogger and sponsor registrations will (only) begin on July 1st, but the Blogathon forum is already up-and-running :) And there’s this article — Blogathon Tips — written by Lorelle @ Blog Herald that I think every blogathoner should read. She shares a list of tips to help prepare blogathoners for THE event, as well as ideas to help us blog better during the blogathon.

Though the official Blogathon 2007 site isn’t open for registration yet, a lot of discussions are taking place in the forums, and among them, topics that fellow blogathoners are planning to blog about:

• Sheana, the forum administrator, and her friends are planning a Potterthon (yeah, you guessed it, it’s all about Harry Potter!)
• Alhena is planning to assemble a jigsaw puzzle
• AKA Monty will let her blog readers give her “Opening Lines” so that she can compose a short story based on their opening lines
• Katili will do a moblog this year, and she will take 48 pictures with her cellphone on a Saturday in Portland!

And yeah, Yvonne and I are teaming up this year, and we will blog about Eden Handicap Service Centre — the organization, the staff, the volunteers, people living with disabilities, you get the drift. And we’re also blogging for them!
