Note: This is a scheduled post as I am currently away, attending a triple celebrations — Grandpa’s 84th and Grandma’s 81st birthdays and their 60th wedding anniversary! That’s ENOUGH reasons to be away, no? :) See ya when I return on Wednesday!

Psst…

Did anybody notice that this is the third consecutive weekend I’m away from my computer? Now you do :)

Photo HuntI’m definitely NOT going to post about my hair this week because, well, there’s NOTHING special about my hair. I used to keep my hair short and at one time, Mum referred to my hairstyle as “mushroom head” because it looked like a mushroom. And when I kept it long (as in, a little longer than shoulder-length), I was ONLY seen spotting the pony tail because I lacked the creativity to tie my hair up nicely. And then I realized that though my hair looked straight, the underlayer is actually curly, and that was why my hair was almost always frizzy, especially after a hair wash. So I rebonded my hair and boy, I loved the straight, mess-free hair!

Waitaminute..

I should be talking about a friend of mine. Her name is Lizzie (short for you know what), and she does NOT cut her hair because her religion forbids it. Yes, you read that right, she isn’t allowed to cut her hair (though she can pluck those with split ends) and when we went to school together, a group of us had always threatened to “chop her hair off”, hahaha :D

See how long her hair was!

I said, “see how long her hair WAS” because the picture on the left was taken back in December 2005, about 18 months ago. And I had even blogged about it on my first Blogger blog. Her hair NOW is definitely longer than it was back in 2005 since she does NOT cut it :)

But despite the looooooong hair, Lizzie was never seen messy though I’d bet that it was time-consuming to wash that much hair every alternate day! Instead, she always had her hair tied up in a nice neat bun :)

Now do you know somebody with hair longer than hers?? Tell me about it! :D
