Psst…

It’s my favourite blogger, Mervie’s birthday tomorrow! Go wish him Happy Burfday, OK?

I am not obsessed with shoes. In fact, I’ve never had any more than three pairs of perfectly-functional shoes at any one time. And as simplistic as it sounds, I need only three pairs — a pair of BATA slippers, a pair of open-toed sandals and a pair of leather shoes — and I’m good to go. Anywhere :)

But when I went shopping recently — was it during Chinese New Year? I can’t remember — I spotted this pair of Carlo Rino heels and I was literally *staring* at it. I mean, it was expensive alright, and though it was on sale I couldn’t bring myself to buying such as expensive pair of heels (when I was younger, I cried when my aunt insisted on buying me a pair of sport shoes!).

So I did!

Carlo Rino heels Check out the elaborate heels (by my standards)! I think it’s about, what, 3 inches high? And I don’t normally buy heels higher than an inch because I think I’m tall enough, and I don’t need to be reminded that I’m tall. And trust me, being tall does NOTHING except making me look thinner than I already am, and I hate comments that “You are too thin” thrown at me. Ouh well, this will be for another day :)
