When I was in Penang a couple of days ago, I spent 2 days volunteering at Eden Handicap Service Centre because I knew they were organizing a Charity Food Fair this coming Saturday.

So anyway, details of the Charity Food Fair are as follow:

Date: 9 June 2007 (Saturday)
Time: 10 AM – 3 PM
Venue: Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang, Jalan Utama, 10450 Penang

When I was volunteering at Eden, I was “called upon” to assist in the preparation for the Charity Food Fair, and my, all I can say is that there will be about 80 stalls sponsored by hotels, companies, churches as well as generous individuals, and there will be lots of food and games and even a lucky draw on that day! :D But since I won’t be in Penang this weekend, those of you who will be, perhaps you’d drop by Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang and join in the fun and games?

Coupon booklets are priced at RM 20 per book, and will also be available on the spot. Go with your family and friends, join in the fun, spread the love and do your bit for the society — now this sounds like a perfect weekend, no?? :)

Note: The Charity Food Fair organized by Eden Handicap Service Centre is an annual event to raise funds to support the charity work carried out by the Centre. Eden Handicap does NOT charge individuals or families for their services and depends entirely on the generosity of the general public. Operation costs may touch RM 50,000 every month.
