  • If you think you’re as BAD as I am when it comes to cooking — I simply can’t cook, luckily J doesn’t mind cooking, in fact, he loves it, and is a good cook — read this. It’s basically a whatever-can-go-wrong-in-the-kitchen-will-go-wrong true story. It will make your day, trust me :)
  • Web 5.0 - A glimpse into the future is a good read if you know what Web 2.0 is all about. Or even if you don’t :)
  • And if you think you’re TOUGH, read this. It’s a true story of a girl who had to deal with 3 deaths on her consecutive birthdays, who had her appendix burst, and to whom the doctor said, “We don’t know what state of your reproductive organs are in: the only way you’re going to know if you can get pregnant is if you get pregnant. But even then there’s no guarantee you’ll carry to term.”
  • Do you highlight your documents (papers, journals, memos, meeting minutes, whatever) as you read them? I do. With different-coloured highlighters — yellow, pink, blue, purple, orange, green. Read about the Art of Highlighting — yes, apparently, it’s a form of art *winks*
  • And, what happens after the love is gone?
  • It may seem incredible, but a number of people have signed up to have their bodies frozen after death in the hope of being thawed and brought back to life some day. Whatever are THEY thinking?

  3. Silly Pat

I couldn’t stop laughing at the cooking entry because it’s EXACTLY what I’m afraid will happen to me. ^_^

Erin: No problem, I enjoyed it myself, so I wanted to share it with my friends :)

Wuching: Eik, you can come back over two days to finish reading them ma, no? And that day I read that you didn’t have anything to blog about, so why not spend time reading blogs then, kekekke :)

Pat: “.. EXACTLY what you’re afraid will happen to you..”?? ME TOO! I mean, I’m really quite hopeless when it comes to cooking, and I envy my friends who could cook chicken chop AT HOME!

Jie can cook la, but only instant noodles. Other than that, you (or maybe me) would like to consider eating out. Wuahhaa! Besides, my sister is pretty hopeless when it comes to preparing Ribena. You’ll end up drinking…. (you wouldn’t want to know the taste). Wuakkkaa.. Sorry, Jie!

Mei Mei: AARRGHH! Ouh, I never told you that I like my drinks diluted? :)

My belated thanks for the link. Sorry it’s taken a little while to respond, but truth be told I still feel a little odd when I get feedback on that post. I’m not tough, I’m just, well, me. Lots of people go through a lot worse.

Anyway, thanks for the link :)

(I like your new take on spam protection, but perhaps another option for those of us who’s mental arithmetic is shocking. 2+2 I can just about cope with, but 5+8? That’s getting tricky. Yes, I had to use my fingers to make sure I got the right answer. I had to use my fingers twice to make sure).
