I can’t believe I’m writing the 2nd installment of this. Hhaha, my, this IS addictive! *smiles*

  • If you’re into image editing (whether to remove that pimple or to add that dimple), Smiley Cat gives an exhaustive review on the available online image editors - Online Photo Tool, Picnik, Cellsea and what-have-yous.
  • I have deactivated the Auto-trackback by category plugin written by Edrei because I either find myself (a) accidentally pinging PPS (much to the annoyance of other “holier” bloggers), or (b) unable to find a good read among those not-worthy-of-pinging topics.

Plus, I already have “the good reads” in my Bloglines :)

OK, it’s time for lunch.

no blogging for 1 day? can tahan onot wor..

pelf: Muahha, especially now when you’re writing paid posts, hor? :)

  2. Infectioner

I sure can tahan wan.. hahaha

pelf: Hhaha, I know you can, you survived Shut Down Day, right?

anyway, I think instead of not blogging for the day, we should discuss the issue as blogs are used to share our views of something with others. Who knows, maybe we can prevent such issue to arise again if the people read our views and might change their minds of setting a new record for the deadliest mass shooting -___-

pelf: You have your points :) So yea, if you’d like to share your feelings on the incident, you can do it here.

Awww, that’s sad. The thing is, you can put the ping under the categories you want in the first place. You don’t have to ping all the categories. That’s what I do at least. :)

pelf: That was what I used to do, but well, accidents happen :)

Then again, there is always 9rules. :P

pelf: Shhh.. That’s why I stopped visiting PPS :)

well, i’ll definitely go with the “silence honour”… =)

    thx for reminding!

    pelf: No problem :)

luckily firearms are banned in malaysia and the students are not that fanatic…

pelf: I was thinking about the same thing, especially right after the shooting, and I thought, “d*mn! I’ll still be on compus!”

Well, it’s a sign of respect to observe silence, however I guess there’s no issue to continue blogging. These kind of things can just about happen anywhere in the world though, it pays to discover the roots of the problem early.

pelf: Yea, it’s definitely not an issue here, but we can all do whatever it is in our capacities, because like it or not, whatever that had happened cannot be undone.

well, i personally think that by being “silent” we are trying to bring the attention of the public to this matter. It’s true that being silent individually is not much of a help but if the entire world is doing the same thing, the effect would be easily recognized. I really hope that the ultimate mate goal of re-establishment of the firearm policy could happen. Let’s pray for the innocent.

pelf: You do have a point :)
