I’m going to do a Jolene-style post today. No, not the famous style (a.k.a. 56K killer) which is loaded with LOTS of photos - in fact, my cam-whoring skills haven’t reached that level yet. Yea, you read that right, hahhaa 
So anyway, yea, I’m going to politely ask you to let me know, by dropping me a comment, if you’d like to be included in the so-called mailing list for future password-protected posts. I used to send my passwords to people who have commented at least once in my blog, but you know, sometimes when people don’t leave comments, I have a feeling that they’re not interested. And if they’re not interested, I don’t want to bug them further. See, I told you I’m nice *grins*
Ouh, and I have an announcement to make.
I regret to inform you guys that from today onwards, I will not be writing about the turtle projects carried out by the Turtle Research and Rehabilitation Group in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, or anything relating to my “work” including my relationship with my Supervisor and colleagues. Yes, this is a request from my Supervisor, and I’m going to oblige. Because she’s my Supervisor, and you don’t say “NO” to your Supervisor. And also because she gave me an acceptable reason for her request.
Plus, I shouldn’t have written about “work” and personal stuff in the same blog from the beginning anyway *sigh* I’m just disappointed that I have to stop writing about those turtle projects. I hope I have created some sort of awareness in YOU on the plight of our turtles *wipes tears*
But instead of deleting those posts, I will just password-protect them. I mean, things that have been written cannot be unwritten, right?
So to compensate that loss of chance to create and spread the awareness on the turtles in our world, I’m going to start working on a new turtle-site. Nothing about the new blog has been decided upon except for the domain name. So yea, if you have any suggestions, I’d like to hear from you. Please.. Do let me know what you’d like to see in the turtle-site, and I’ll try to incorporate your ideas with mine (which is non-existent at the moment, just kidding..).

A request from your Supervisor? Do you think she has the rights to ask you to stop writing? We learn through sharing. And we talk of world-class universities producing thousands of geniuses but how can the minds of the younger generation grow if lecturers (supervisors) are asking you not to do things (in this case, writing and sharing your experience with others)?
pelf: Whether or not she has the rights, I’m still going to oblige. Well, now I have all the more reasons to turn my blog into a personal one

ah.. pelf, it’s sad to know that you can’t write anything about the project. Well i can say like i alwiz got my updated news or info about terrapin from your blog. To be honest, so far.. i can’t find any blog about terrapin besides urs. Anyway, let me know about the new site. I’ll still support or read ur blog. All your pictures very nice especially the one u took in ipoh. Ya that remind me.. in Penang, i think still got tat dispenser (the one u took from the herbal shop).
