I have attended scientific seminars and conference but this is the first time I hear of a bloggers conference! And, no pineapple tarts for guessing this correctly, PostieCon 07 a gathering of bloggers from around the world! And it is called a conference because, as I see it, PostieCon is more than just a bloggers’ meet. It is more than meeting over lunch or tea or dinner. It is more than introducing yourselves and shaking hands and making friends. It is more than taking pictures, of yourselves and of the food sitting in front of you. In fact, it is more than any of these combined!
PostieCon 07 - the conference - is designed to help YOU become a better blogger. The great guys at PayPerPost have invited some of the world’s biggest bloggers to share their knowledge, perspective and experience with PostieCon attendees. They will be educating bloggers on how to build traffic and readership, and to use your notoriety and unique brand to create value and monetize your voice. So you see, it’s NOT all about money and fame 
They will provide the peeps (read: brains) and the knowledge, and WE use it to better yourself and build your blog. Sounds like a great arrangement, no?
But why should you attend PostieCon 07, I heard you ask? Two words: Rock Star. Don’t you know that bloggers and internet personalities are the Rock Stars of the information age?? Bloggers reach millions of dedicated fans on a day-to-day basis, hence it’s easy to see why today’s humble blogger could potentially be tomorrow’s Rock Star. And that is also why PostieCon 07’s theme is “You’re A Rock Star”.
Psst.. It says in the PostieCon schedule that June 1st is the “first day of the rest of your life” - and I was like, “OMG, THAT was accurate!” because I was born on June 1st
