While Merv and his family enjoyed themselves at the beach recently - playing “catching balls” and donning only bikinis and flip flops - we’re experiencing the once-a-year-monsoon here on the East Coast. The winds are strong AND salty, so strong that some coconut trees along the beach are permanently swayed toward the mainland, the waves are huge and scary AND salty. Nobody sits on the beach anymore because your hair gets entangled AND salty sooner than you can say, “Wow, so windy!”

And because the monsoon started late last year, we are predicting it to end later this year too. It’s ONLY a prediction, OK?

But then, I’ve got news that Laguna Redang Island Resort will resume business a few days before Chinese New Year. So.. Anybody wants to go Redang? :)
