I never thought that I’d resolve to making money by blogging, you know. I don’t deny the fact that the idea had been lingering in my mind since I’ve heard about the opportunity to make money by blogging - and I had also been telling myself that, no, I don’t need that additional “pocket money”.
But that was history. I stopped working for my Supervisor beginning this year and as a result, I stopped receiving monthly allowances from her - which is fair, I thought. But I can’t just stretch my hand out and ask Mum for money every month to pay my insurance, room rent, bills, petrol and food, can I?
Plus, I’ve had experience surviving on my own since my Bachelor days - I did not need Mum to send me a single sen throughout my Bachelor days because I worked part-time for an English daily. And upon graduation, I was presented with more challenging contracts which of course, paid better too. For example, the 2-month contract with WorldFish Centre that made me a couple of thousand ringgits richer and the more recent Turtle Coffeetable Book project. Hhhaha, but this is not a time to show off, right?
Anyway, whether you agree with me or not, I will be writing sponsored posts right here and like everybody’s saying, you have the right NOT to read or comment on them, seriously (but I promise I’d try my best to only write about relevant stuff instead of “mortgage loans in the UK”). As long as you come back for more turtle news
