I have to resort to pooling the following posts together because I simply cannot find time to write a few separate entries.

First off, I’m glad that Mei Mei is enjoying her Industrial Training at CinemaOnline. She’s enjoying herself, the company has turned her into a cinemagoer, she’s had a fair share of opportunities to meet TV personalities as well as the production crew. And I am just so thankful for that. Way to go, baby!

Secondly, like I said earlier, my blogging will be intermittent from now until I am free enough to sit and draft a decent blog post. Or until something pops up and I need to announce or rant about it. Otherwise, I’ll feed you, yea the three of you, with a steady supply of backup posts, aka postcard posts, hahaha :)

I just got some news that one of my batchmates has successfully secured a place in a university overseas to do his Ph.D and that he will be fully-sponsored by the university. Now, he’s a smart guy, he was a First-Class-Honours student, and as much as I hate to say this, he deserves it. But what I am utterly p*ssed off with is the fact that nobody else knew about the opportunity to apply for it when it was open for application for a whole six-freaking-months in 2006.

And I am 80% sure that somebody somewhere along the line was trying to keep it a secret for as long as they possibly could, so that the number of applicants was low and their chances would be higher. True enough, only five students applied for it, when in fact there are more than 200 Master’s students in the university. Don’t tell me the other 195 students aren’t interested to do their Ph.Ds.

I washed a lot of clothes yesterday because it looked like a fine day in the morning. But before the sun dried my jeans, rain started pouring. So right now I have a bunch of clothes in the living room, air-drying *sigh* St*pid weather..

I gotta go. Am trying very hard to stick to my one and only resolution for 2007. Will let you know what it is as soon as I have time to :)
