You know, some people are just sooo obsessed with their st*pid religion that it blinds them of the good intentions of other people from other religions. Now, am I too naive to believe that every religion, regardless of whichever one you embrace, teaches its followers to be kind, compassionate, giving, and all other what-not good virtues?
Anyway, to save the bandwidth for other more important work cut a long story short, my Supervisor made some arrangements with a Buddhist group from Selangor who wanted to donate some school bags and stationery to the local POOR students. But since the bags and stationery went to Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulau Redang the previous year, my Supervisor suggested that the stuff be channeled to two other schools in Setiu this year.
And this time around, the Chief Monk had even made the arrangements to come to Terengganu and to personally distribute the stationery himself.
But guess what happened?!
Apparently, the Pegawai Pejabat Pelajaran (or something like that) disapproved the good intentions on the basis that the donations are from a religious group. WTH?!
It is only a Buddhist group, for God’s sake! OK, they are from a religious group but they aren’t going to talk about Buddhism in the school! They aren’t going to give talks in the hope of converting all Muslim students to Buddhism! They aren’t going to distribute Buddhist sutras! And they aren’t going chant in the school!
They are only going to distribute bags and books and stationery and some cash to the hard-core poor students (orphans).
Now, you st*pid PPP, you are not only incapable of helping the poor people in your area, you are also depriving the students from poor families of spanking-brand-new back-to-school stationery, and now your narrow-minded-head is not even functioning properly to differentiate white from black. The Buddhist group is only trying to help the poor students in what little ways they can, to the extent of buying not only bags but stationery as well. But you, as the PPP, not only did not assist in reaching out to the students, you are actually stopping other people from doing so!
What the h*ll is wrong with your screwed-up head?!

What the hell is wrong with accepting donations on behalf of less fortunate students? And it’s just from a religious organization, not some criminal gang or whatnot.

Any comments from Hisham or Noh Omar on this? I have cancelled my newspapers subscription long ago. On TV today (Sunday) Hisham is in Sabah doing the same thing.
