Yea, I know the title sounds a tad (too) pathetic – but hey, what do YOU expect from somebody who does not celebrate Christmas on a RAINY Christmas day?! *sulks*
So J and I went to town on Christmas Eve. I suggested that we go to church for some fun. We went to a church. I didn’t quite like the feeling in the church (sorry, Feli) so we left. You see, when I was in Melaka, I used to attend Christmas Eve mass at the Methodist Church at Jalan Tengkera (familiar, anyone?). As far as I can remember, Christmas Eves were filled with loud Christmas songs, lights dimmed, people jumping and dancing around and hugging each other, more LOUD Christmas songs, presents, kids, candles, sketches and more songs, you get the drift?
And by Christmas songs, I mean Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bells, Hark! The Herald Angel Sings, Deck the Halls, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and the likes..
But the church that we went to last night was S.E.R.I.O.U.S. The father (I presume he was the father) was singing an unfamiliar song, there was no LIVE music, the kids were all seated, the lights switched on.. And I knew in that instance that if we were to enter the church, J and I would be the ONLY non-Christians in the “church”. And we don’t fancy that thought. So we left.
Oh well, I was supposed to show off the Christmas cards I received, wasn’t I?

From Yvy.
I received this from Yvy quite some time ago. I scanned it and placed it in the box together with the other cards and forgot about it! *blushes*

From Moz.
The next one was from Moz. OK, this isn’t a Christmas card but since he was so nice and even remembered to send me a card from Hanoi, I think it deserves to be piled together with Christmas cards – hahahha, don’t bother yourself about my theory *winks* Thanks, Moz..

From Feli.
And this is also another non-Christmas card but since it’s Christmas today, I consider it one, muahaha *smiles* Feli sent me this when she was in Miri not too long ago, and she said the card reminded her of me (!!!).
And since it isn’t as Christmassy as I’d like it to be here, I’m looping my Christmas songs on my PC, hahaha.. Merry Christmas, folks! *hugs*
P/S: Feli, there’d better be LOTS of Christmas songs during Christmas Night on campus! Otherwise.. I’ll get my friends to boycott future Christmas Nights, muahhah..
