The Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) is an independent tax-exempt voluntary organisation registered with the Registrar of Societies in Malaysia. It is a self-help support group. Its members comprise breast cancer survivors, family members of breast cancer patients, related professionals and interested persons. The mission of BCWA rests on the philosophy that a volunteer or a breast cancer survivor uses her experience to help another woman recovering from breast cancer.
In the website is a host of information on the activities that have been conducted by and for breast cancer survivors, a forum where members may post their views and opinions as well as to request for help and assistance from fellow members, and a library of educational materials concerning breast cancer for download.
