At the Postcrossing Forum, there’s this thread where fellow postcrossers tag each other and subsequently send each other cards of the tag. For example, there is the “animal postcard” tag where you send the person before you an animal card, and the next person sends you one and the cycle repeats itself. There is also the “city view” tag, the “handmade postcard” tag and many more.
One of the funniest tags is the “take out the trash” tag, where you send the person before you a card that you would very much like to get rid of but do not want to throw it away. The next person then sends you a card that he/she would like to get rid of.
So, I received this card as a result of the “take out the trash” tag.
According to Karen, she used to collect these Stenvall’s duck cards (I am assuming Stenvall is an artist) but then he started painting more and more of them, and she felt it wasn’t “art” anymore and that the artist was just producing pictures for money 
So Karen says that tags like this is a good way of getting rid of the remaining dozen of such cards
