This guy said he was going to send me a postcard if I gave him my address. So I thickened my face and gave him my address, and this was what he sent me, together with a handwritten note:
The handwritten note says that he only realized it costs 50 cents to send a postcard AFTER he had bought a “whole stack” of 30 cents stamps. So he was trying to maximize his 2 x 30 cents postage cost by sending the postcard in an envelope PLUS a handwritten note *runs away*
*runs back, panting*
By the way, Merv, I know you ARE reading this.. Thank you very much for the card and the note, will keep them both in the safe 
Another card that arrived on the same day was this Washington DC night view from Christina, showing the three main features of the Mall: (from left to right) The United States Capitol, Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial.
