Sometimes the things that people do get me thinking.. Like this little flyer I found in my letter box today:

I wonder why would the doctor bother opening the clinic if he/she intends to work only 4 hours per day *scratches head*
If you think this post might benefit other bloggers:

yeah, makes me wonder too if they actually care about people’s health…
pelf: Yea, or maybe it’s just a money-making scheme..
there’s a doctor near my place, his clinic was closed for one whole day no reason whatsoever. and that was the day i needed a doc most.
d*mn these lazy doctors
pelf: I think you NEED a doctor now, immediately.. Stop coming back to my blog until you’re WELL, you hear me, young man?!
I’m not defending this doctor but…I do know of some doctors who works at 2 different clinics in one day…hence, that explains the 4 hours at this particular clinic.
Just my 2 cents.
pelf: Yes, you were trying to defend the doctor, and yes, you were most probably right about the doctor serving 2 clinics..
That’s why you have public health facilities, because private clinics are, well, private - it’s a business, so the doctors get to chose the opening hours and the terms of service !
I mean, if you have your own shop, you get to decide the opening hours, don’t you?
The doctor either works part time in the clinic (and full time in a public health facility), or is semi-retired - like my family doctor who only opens about 6 hours every day.
pelf: Yes, the public facilities are open all day long but they make you wait all day long too..
pelf: Comment eaten because pelf was hungry *winks*
did you iron out that piece of paper? looks like its fresh from the photocopy machine..
pelf: Did I iron the flyer? Are you OK, my brother?
Gosh, Jason, I think that’s probably uncalled for … let’s not go there …
pelf: Noted..
Why eat my comment??? *sobs sobs*
pelf: Midnight snacks
My guess is that it could be a typo. Maybe it is until 12.00am? as people often are confused by what to call midnight.
pelf: Possibly
