.. and I’m not sure if this is good news *winks*
Feli’s got very cute roommates, but I shall leave that for her. Cute, because one of them calls me “Jie” just like how my sister calls me!! When little Esther called me that, I turned around almost immediately and for a moment thought that I heard my own sister calling me..
So, after registration and the necessary cleaning up and all, I sent Feli’s Mum to the airport, and because two of Feli’s roommates were around, I offered to take them along. On our way home from the airport, I dropped the three stooges girls at the beach (on their own request, OK?!) and told them to be back by 7pm, or whenever other students started to leave.
It’s funny how re-telling my experiences and answering their Marine Biology-related questions made me feel. Nostalgic, that must be it. Sharing with them about the courses and field trips and what to expect kind of brought me back to those days when I was actually living it.. Sooo surreal.. It seemed to me that it was only yesterday that I met my roommates.. Those memories..
Anyway, back to reality. I will probably take my “new found sisters” to town this coming weekend for some shopping and jalan-jalan, after which they will be on their own for the next three years..
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you stooges girls “GOOD LUCK” *winks*
If you think this post might benefit other bloggers:
how lucky they are… upon arrival got chauffeur d.. LOL
pelf: I think so too.. When I arrived 5 years ago, I didn’t know anybody, and the seniors were all nowhere to be seen.. “You want to know more about Marine Biology? Be patient, you’ll learn to know everything in 3 years.” D*mn.
yeah.. how i wish there is someone like you showed me and tell me how campus life. Anyway.. yeah.. i heard marine biology have lots of interesting field trips and subjects. I heard from one of the interns from kustem (met them during my 2nd trip to Masjid Tanah) that there is one philippine lecturer gave a lot of assignments (forgot her name..kekeke) and she is a very dedicate lecturer. In KL.. i also told my friends about you.. and alwiz known u as that turtle expert jie jie (hee…a bit malu here..!!)
pelf: Yes, the Filipino lecturer is the students’ idol - her name is Dr. Siti
If I ever become a lecturer, it would be because of her. She’s very very dedicated, we all love her very much
Soo… I heard you have more sisters now. *koff koff* *clears throat* *hint hint*
Darn. Wish when I started college, I had someone to show me around. A good host thou are!
pelf: I wished I had seniors like myself too.. I didn’t, so that’s why I’m trying to be there for my juniors..
Life has certainly become a little more interesting…now that you are a Da Jie!
pelf: With added responsibilities.. *winks*
I am soOoOooO JEALOUS! Jie didn’t bring me around when I visit her. Usually she’ll leave the car for me and say, “nah.. go play. do not disturb me.”
*sigh*
pelf: Don’t be jealous.. I gave you my car, but I didn’t give any of them my car, see? *hugs* You’re still my bestest sister
OK. Muahaha… (=
pelf: Giler? Soo happy
greetings from the library! you still haven’t bring us jalan-jalan ok! next fri we’re free we think. *hint hint* wahahahhaaha~
pelf: The bad thing about going to town on Fridays is that most of the shops are closed. Maybe Saturday would be a better alternative..
